Alicia is a wife, mom, photographer, baby whisperer, project manager, daughter, sister and Jersey girl. She was born in Seoul, South Korea and came to New Jersey when she was adopted at 2 and has never left. Alicia is an on-location, natural light newborn photographer who opened the doors to Alicia Gould Photography in early 2008. For over 6 years, she successfully balanced her photography business and family with a full time career. Earlier this year, Alicia left the corporate world to focus on her photography and teaching. She believes finding the right balance between family, work and photography is critical. Alicia uses her experience to teach others how to create the right business model, set boundaries, and speed up their processing and business workflows.
In 2013, Alicia merged her passion for newborn photography with teaching by creating the Newborn Photography Course at Clickin Moms University (CMU). During this 4 week online interactive course, she walks her students through lighting, posing, wrapping, processing, and creating family portraits through written material and videos.
Alicia’s images are described as peaceful, clean, and timeless. She is known for her attention to detail and remarkable patience. Alicia’s newborn work has been featured around the world from the Daily Mail to My Modern Metropolis and Click Magazine. She has always been a Canon girl with a 5dmkii, 5dmkiii and variety of lenses.
