Fine Art Prints

ACI not only offers Fine Art printing, but we offer a Fine Art process. We use the best Fine Art Paper in the industry, and our staff is highly educated and trained in this process. Why do we do all of this? Because high-quality Fine Art Prints are more than equipment and paper, it’s about the people you trust to produce your Fine Art printing.

ACI highly recommends white glove treatment when handling Fine Art Prints. Unlike Photographic Paper that typically has a protective finish, our Fine Art Paper finish was created to purely convey the beauty of your work. Because of this, these prints must be handled with special care to prevent damage. Handling Fine Art Prints without gloves can result in hard-to-remove fingerprints, fingernail marks, and due to it’s water-soluble properties, damage to the print itself from the natural moisture and oils on your skin. We recommend one pair of gloves per order as a minimum.

Along with the white gloves, we strongly recommend mounting the Fine Art Paper to the proper mounting option. Without mounting, the paper will not lay flat and does bow. Now you can add any of ACI’s framing options to your Fine Art print as well. Click here to see the framing catalogs.

Do I need to order the nylon white gloves for handling the prints?

We highly recommend ordering the nylon white gloves to keep skin from contaminating the print, especially on the Canson Papers. We suggest that you have a pair for handling in your studio to handle all the Fine Art Prints, as well as purchase a pair to send with each of your customers who purchase the prints.

Is mounting required for the Fine Art Print?

We strongly recommend mounting the Fine Art Paper to the proper mounting option. Without mounting, the paper will not lay flat and does bow.

Are there special care instructions for these prints?

In addition to handling them with the nylon white gloves, you will want to make sure that you keep them out of direct sunlight and away from high humidity.

I don't see the size I am looking for, can you do custom sizes?

We can! Order the Fine Art size that fits your longest size. You will want to set up your JPG file to the size that fits one of our standard sizes, and place your image so that it is justified into the corner of the file. Place that file into MyACI, and note in the Special Instructions your custom size. Click Here to Watch: Ordering a Custom Sized Print

If I order an ACI frame for my Fine Art print, will that increase the production time?

If you order from one of ACI’s stocked frame options, it will not increase your turnaround time on your order as we have those frames on hand. Your turnaround time may be extended if you order a custom frame, depending on what day you place your order.
